RRFF: Meet Daisy

Spring is right around the corner for sure... Meet the newest special limited edition Ruby Red Fashion Doll, Daisy!

Limited to 175 in total, Daisy comes in a dreamy lavender dress, white lace leggings, and playful silver and lavender shoes. Her ensemble is completed by a hat adorned with lavender colored daisies.

Looking to confirm Daisy's face sculpt, will update asap. 

Update! She is a Dianna Effner sculpt, new to the Ruby Red Fashion Friends line.

This lavender dress may be my favorite froufrou styled dress by RRFF to date.

RRFF: Camille

The spring surprises from Un Bonheur de Colibri continues with a second RRFF doll to arrive in May. Meet Camille! 

Camille comes with a removable wig rather than glued for ease of customization. Please note she comes only with her one smooth brunette wig, no extra wigs included. (A different RRFF doll, Emmy, also features a removable wig and comes with two!)

Just like other limited edition dolls through Un Bonheur de Colibri, Camille's meet outfit is amazing. The sweater and skirt and long coat ensemble comes with tights, shiny black boots, as well as a necklace, red crossbody purse, and matching red hat.

Blue-eyed Camille looks a sibling or close cousin to last summer's Capucine! Open for pre-order now, limited to just 106 copies.

RRFF: Meet Emmy

Meet Emmy! She is a limited edition Ruby Red Fashion Friend who will come with two removable wigs. One poppet, two distinct looks!

Emmy is offered through Un Bonheur de Colibri and is the first RRFF doll (along with Camille, see her separate post) offered with a removable wig. For customizers, this is a dream--no more struggling to remove a glued wig! 

As pictured above, Emmy will come with TWO removable wigs, a long wavy brunette wig and a smooth blonde wig.

Emmy's meet outfit is urban casual with a touch of rugged country. Her sweater and jeans ensemble come with a hat, jacket and scarf, for plenty of variations to her look.

Her hat includes feather decoration.

I just can't get over her beautiful face--she looks amazing as a brunette and as a blonde.

RRFF: New for 2021! Meet Lila

Oh goodness, another lovely to soon be released into the regular lineup of Ruby Red Fashion Friends.

This may be my favorite "Meet" outfit from the regular lineup of RRFF girls. The tshirt graphic of the little elephants holding heart-shaped balloons is beyond adorable. I love all the quality details--her denim jacket features embroidered pink hearts. I'm also a big fan of those lovely dusty-rose colored shoes.

Lila's face sculpt looks to be the "Kayla" mold by Ruby Ho in a light vinyl tone with deep amber colored eyes. Her faceup is unique as her lip color seems to have a shimmery pink tone

Lila is available for preorder at Happily Ever After, and as an addition to the regular line up she should also start showing up at all the other usual RRFF retail sites as well. Ship date will be late March or early April.

RRFF: A New Poppet & The One that Got Away

Un Bonheuer de Coliberi has a new exclusive Ruby Red Fashion Friend poppet available for pre-order! 

Eira will debut in February 2021 and she will have long, light blonde hair pulled back into a braid and she features a striking face up with heavy brow and lashes. Eira also features the premiere of a brand new ice-blue eye color.

Eira means "snow" in Welsh, but it is also a Scandinavian name as well, a variant of Eir, the goddess of healing.

Eira is ready for a stroll out in the snow, wearing soft winter whites and grays and a pair of comfy Ugg-style boots. She has a strong modern Elsa of Frozen vibe and will likely be instant love or a strong pass for many. But with only 150 available some may need to jump in now during the pre-order period to guarantee an Eira poppet.

Eira will make her way from France all the way to home here in California this February (which is also my birthday month!).

But now a moment to appreciate the beauty that got away...

Valentine is a Russian exclusive who went on pre-order sometime in November and debuted in early December. She's all sold out, all 150 Valentine poppets. Did you miss this poppet as well? Love her hair, her outfit, and the whole package.

I would love to see a variant of Valentine, such as a similar girl with the same outfit but in pinks. Or at least that shoe style--Mary Janes with bows--and coordinating socks in that blue and other colors as well--how about ruby red, blue, pink, deep brown, and maybe an orange!

Well, Valentine, it was love at first sight, but it was not meant to be!
