I am curious to find out the price of Tenney's Teal Guitar. I was guessing $48, but then in AG's Live Presentation on Facebook yesterday it seemed the guitar also plays a recorded song and that has me mentally bumping up the price even higher.

Poppets & Posies plans to be at the American Girl Store tomorrow to enjoy the debut, take pictures, and melt her credit cards from overuse.

Poppet Peeks: Updates on Felicity

BeForever Felicity in just 5 more weeks!

The current set of unconfirmed information for Felicity remains largely the same.

* Felicity is to debut on February 9th

* She will be available online and in flagship stores Chicago, NYC and LA

* She will have some launch events, presumably just at the flagship stores (perhaps a craft or small give away?)

No word yet if she or her collection will be offered in the new box styles but the rumor is that ALL AG dolls and doll lines will eventually be moved to the new box styles.

An alternative rumor is that only Felicity's book/s will be released on the 9th and the doll debut delayed until August. 

The rumored meet dress has a wonderful brocade pattern stitched into the fabric.

The underskirt is an attached panel and not separate from the overdress, which is a move away from the more realistic two-piece construction some of Felicity's earlier outfits.

The shoes are definitely left-shoe and right-shoe constructed and seem very similar in construction quality to Felicity's original meet shoes.

Overall, Felicity's meet outfit seems to be a strong effort with striking fabric choices. The dress seems quite grand for a daughter of a general store merchant but I am more than willing to give it narrative leeway. There has not been any other leaked outfits yet, so it does leave me wondering if it will be Felicity + a Collection or perhaps just a "special edition" doll without any extra outfits.

At this point I am mostly on pins and needles wondering if American Girl will mar BeForever Felicity' launch with the new box style.

New Felicity Books Covers (Volumes II and III)

Felicity's second book. Wonderful! I can't wait! Will her Green Riding Habit featured on Book be reprised with a full fledged outfit at her debut?

And Felicity's third volume, her Journey Book, part of her BeForever makeover.

Poppet Peeks: Felicity?

Is this the first peek at the new BeForever Felicity?

If this is our new Felicity, gone are the "laser green" eyes of the original Pleasant Company era Felicity or even the bright emerald eyes of the latter-era poppets.

Her face paint looks standard but she definitely looks similar to redhead TM 61 with the exception of the hint of pin curls which is definitely a Felicity feature.

My Pleasant Company era Felicity (originally my daughter's poppet) is in rough shape and she has been out of circulation (private in-home storage) for quite some time. It is tempting to refresh and bring home a rejuvenated BeForever Felicity poppet in the same way we refreshed our Samantha when she was reintroduced to the BeForever line.

2017 Felicitations!

American Girl's 2017 new offerings are beginning to shape up!

These undergarments are surely for Felicity, as well as the Blue Colonial Dress featured last month.

This roll sits atop of the hips and will give the skirt of Felicity's dress its distinctive shape.

But it is not just these garments that have Poppets & Posies convinced Felicity returning in 2017. 

A Journey Book for Felicity! This all but guarantees her return. Similar to Samantha's return, Felicity will undergo a BeForever revamps which will include condensing her original 6 book series into Volumes I and II and then a new "Journey" book added for Volume III.

February 16, 2017 publication date! Any chance Felicity will return in February, or will it be a six month delay between books and doll as it was for Melody's staggered release?

Felicity Returns! Colonial Blue Dress

All the signs are there and now items are showing up in all the usual places...

Are you ready for a Felicity out of the archives!? So royal, so blue! I love the pattern but still reeling from the bright contrasts. Looks like Felicity will definitely get the BeForever "brightening".

Those buckles are adorable, so much cuter than I recall some of her original shoes.

Hang on to your wallets! 2017 is shaping up to be a doozy!
