Hat's Adorable!

A new springtime dress and hat--too adorable.

Ana's dress is by Elite Doll World and her hat and necklace by American Girl. I give the dress by EDW an A+++ and the same for the hat and necklace!

This is also my first time fully setting up the Stage & Dressing Room and it makes a delightful backdrop for photography.

The necklace is simple but spot on. It coordinates perfectly with her bracelet.

This poppet has very striking and bright face paint coloring but I am becoming enamored by her unique look.

Happy girl!

  1. This dress is adorable! Makes me hope that AG will release a dress similar to this for Tenney!

    1. I would love to see the dress that is on the cover with her and Logan--a blue floral spring dress. But so far my guess is the black sequin dress and no more after that. But I would love if AG made a 2nd year worth of items for Tenney but all signs point to her being phased out since she was originally a GOTY (one year) doll.

  2. The dress is adorable. Love the hat too. Your model looks stunning.
I really like the pendants on the necklace, but the length is not right. It's way too long, especially for a musician. On closer look, this is probably for her human counterpart. You can easily remedy the length by doubling the cord then securing with the clasp.

    1. Thanks! I also agree the necklace is too long--it would be easy to just knot it a bit up the string (there is no clasp). I left it long because it was easy to get on/off being over-long and I didn't want to fuss with adjusting the length. Since it is a knotted string closure it is better it came too long vs too short for easy customization. Maybe I will reknot/adjust it later. For now, she's just being carefree about how she wears it. :)

    2. Cool! In camp we learned a way to make a knotted necklace adjustable. Instead of one knot, overlap the ends so you are tying to a string not an end (does that make sense), then tie a slip knot on either side. when you're done you should be able to slide both knots toward each other so that the necklace goes over her head, then away to shorten. I've been successful with a few mediums. It doesn't work well with twine; not slippery enough.
