Gabriela!

Gabriela by Teresa E. Harris

"Gabby loves expressing herself—especially in the dance studio—but lately, poetry is becoming her art form of choice, and for good reason: Gabby struggles with stuttering, and spoken word poetry helps her speech flow more freely. Still, compared to how confident she feels on the dance floor, speaking up can be scary. When the city threatens to close her beloved community arts center, Gabby is determined to find a way to help. Can she harness the power of her words and rally her community to save Liberty Arts?"

  1. Excited beyond words. Can't wait. So perfect in every way. My 6 year old will cherish her. So happy this dream came true for every African American American Girl Doll Collector like my Daughter. I pray the entire American Girl Doll Community will embrace her and celebrate her. Great job American Girl Brand.

    1. I am so happy for you and your daughter. I remember how I felt and the tears in my eyes and my heart when the Obamas moved into the White House and I thought of how much even more it must have meant to African Americans to finally witness the first African American First Family.

  2. Looks like American Girl Brand's Doll Public Instagram Page has went private for the last 24 plus hours, wonder why?
